Hyacinth bean. They grow easily from seed. They are very fast growers. The seeds are easily harvested for next year. The flowers are very nice and relatively long lasting, plus the bean pods are very unique and attractive.

The major plus is that they won't take over everything and be a true pain in the *** like morning glories or passion vine. Those are very nice, but I spend an awfully lot of time weeding morning glories these days. You won't have that problem with hyacinth bean.
Reply:Clematis and Honeysuckle seeds can be purchased from specialist seed suppliers, Russian vine can also be used, but beware the are not called 'a mile a minute' for nothing. There is also climbing Hydrangea and Wisteria but Wisteria is difficult, Campsis 'trumpet vine' is another, Jasmine,Virginia Creeper, and Vitis.

90% of plants have seed, some are more difficult to grow than others and can be obtained from specialist seeds-men.

And most come with detailed guidelines on sowing.
Reply:Castor beans, have a dark green purplish leaf and purple flowers. very pretty and easy to grow.
Reply:Jack the bean stalk comes in different colors you can plant from seed in early spring and they are in full bloom in early summer .

And stay that way until late fall then the vines die and you throw them away and plant seed again next year very beautiful will grow and climb up any thing . the red and blue ones is the most pretty.

Queen Bee
Reply:pink passion vine. they sprout up everywhere, and are drought tolerant, and shade tolerant. the blooms last all summer and into the fall. gives a somewhat bizarre but nutritious fruit.
Reply:Clematis is a great blooming vine, but I doubt you can grow it from seed. I've never seen them for sale. You can buy cheap starts in early spring. They actually come in boxes with a small bag inside. You can see the small live plant inside.

They are hard to grow some say. They like their feet in the shade and their heads in the sun. Accomplish this by planting small shrubs around it's base or form a rock shade structure.

There is even an evergreen clematis.
