When can I put my plants out side in the ground in Maine?

I have pumpkins, peas, sweet peas and sun flowers in those little pots you plant pot and all and they are growing out of control! The sun flowers sprouded in less than 8 hours! I'm not kidding! They are out growing my sun porch. When can I plant these things in the ground? And don't say after last frost! Everyone knows that. Give me a time frame PLEASE!!!

Get your peas and sweet peas out NOW. They don't like the full sun in the middle of summer.

Sun flowers are tolerant of heat, and should go out once the last frost date is past.

Pumpkins need a long growing season. Try planting a couple of them out a couple of weeks before the last frost date, but cover them with a plastic gallon milk bottle with the bottom cut out and the lid off. This acts as a mini-greenhouse. If they don't make it, plant a couple more 2 weeks later.
Reply:memorial day weekend.you can plant them in your garden.
Reply:around mothers day!( middle of may)unless of course it's still to cold!
